Tostitos Kakimochi

Ingredients

20 ounces small round tostitos corn tortilla chips (bite-sized)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2-3 tablespoons black sesame seeds

Directions

1Melt butter on low heat, add the sugar, syrup, soy sauce, and sesame seeds and then bring to a boil and let boil for no more than 3 minutes; remove from the heat.

2Place half of the Tostitos in large bowl, add half of the syrup mixture and slowly mix thoroughly, taking care not to break chips.

3Spread the chips out evenly in an aluminum roasting pan lined with aluminum foil sprayed with nonstick spray.

4Repeat with the rest of chips and syrup and use a second roasting pan lined with aluminum and sprayed with nonstick spray.

5Bake at 250掳F for 45 minutes on the first and third racks of the oven; stirring the chips every 15 minutes and rotating the pans between the first and third racks after each stir.

6Put the chips back into the bowl and stir frequently until cool, about 45 minutes or more.

7Store in an airtight container.

Kona Ham Hawaiian Salad

Ingredients

1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks

1 cup mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

2 cups ham, strips or chunks

1 cup celery, slices

2 cups strawberries, halves

2 large bananas, sliced

Directions

Drain pineapple, reserving 2 Tbls.syrup. Combine mayo, mustard and reserved syrup; mix well. Set aside and chill.

In large bowl, combine pineapple, ham, celery and strawberries; mix lightly. Chill before serving.

Add bananas; toss lightly just before serving. Serve in lettuce-lined bowl; top with dressing.

Recipe easily doubled. However, if doubling, no need to double dressing, there is plenty so use sparingly even with a single batch.

how about melon balls? they are fun and tropical and better than making skewers cuz there is no poky stick. Take a watermelon and cut it in half and cut out the inside and make melon balls with the water melon and cantalope and honey due and fill the watermelon with them.
Make fruit skewers with pineapple and grapes and whatever other fruit you want

you could have little crackers or mini pitas with a slice of ham and a pineapple chunk on top

the only thing i can think of is pineapple haha
google anything with pineapple in it.
