A great site: http://www.appetizer-recipes.net/
meatballs.
if you make a fairly neutral meatball you can dress it with a variety of sauces and it becomes different appetizers. sauces like: marinara, swedish meatball sauce... curries, creams, the possibilities are endless. plus meatballs are easy to serve.
neutral meatballs are essentially equal parts ground beef and ground pork with salt and pepper. if you don't know your complimentary flavors ( the sauces you're going to use) then you can add what are fairly neutral flavors; likeable ingredients, like minced onions/garlic, crushed peppers, etc. then add sauces like: teryaki, stroganoff, bbq, more or less anything. Frozen meatballs will work, but these will be better.
wow, almost forgot. make into golfball sized spheres, cook at 350F for 20-30 minutes on a greased cookie sheet.
for bbq meat balls douse in bbq sauce, toss on a high heat grill until they get SLIGHTLY blackened and crispy, douse in sauce again, wait 4 minutes for the second saucing to sink in and serve.
it's called carmelization. google it too.
This site has awesome appetizers and a big, big selection. http://appetizer.betterrecipes.com/
I don't drink smoothies but I found this on the same site. http://recipes.betterrecipes.com/betterr鈥?/a>
You can change the number of servings on both of these sites. I use this site all the time. A lot of the recipes come from Cooking Light, Southern Living, and Sunset. Really good selection plus ratings.
Hot tub party??? Where do you live? I'll drink a smoothie if I must.
