Healthy Snack Recipes for Super Bowl?????????

I love to snack on Super Sunday.

But am trying to keep it healthy...

Anyone got any good recipes???Healthy Snack Recipes for Super Bowl?????????
have a bunch of cut up fruit on a platter and if you want it a little sweet, sweeten it with splenda. have a bowl of fat free ranch dressing and a bunch of veggies such as celery, carrots, tomatoes, and califlower. If you want something to drink, avoid soda. Just get water or iced tea with lemons and splenda. To the tea, sometimes it is even good to add a timy tiny bit of cranberry juice for flavor. Just avoid all the fatty and sugary foods like pizza, ice cream, soda, cookies, cakes, pies, muffins, cupcakes, candy, chocolate, and butter filled things. Just try my suggestion. It's really great!Healthy Snack Recipes for Super Bowl?????????
Here are some healthy suggestions for the super bowl party

Order pizza without the cheese and ask for extra veggies.

Use plain yogurt instead of sour cream to mix up the dip.

Use baked or low-fat chips and veggies for dipping.

Make nachos using reduced fat cheese and baked chips.

Drink diet soda, non-alcoholic beer and soda water instead of regular beer, soda or juice.

Use low-fat microwave popcorn.

Take a walk at halftime.

Watch the game while running on your treadmill.

Eat pretzels instead of chips.

Make submarine sandwiches using non-fat mayo, mustard, low-fat cheese and lean deli meats like turkey breast. Skip the ham, salami and bologna while piling on veggies such as pepper strips, sprouts, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, pickles, cucumbers and grated carrots.

Order a fruit tray from your local grocer instead of a cheese tray.

Serve a broth-based soup instead of a cream soup.

Make a pot of vegetarian chili instead of the regular beef based, or use low-fat ground turkey breast instead of the regular beef.

Put out cereal mix instead of mixed nuts.

Skip the cheese and crackers and substitute pita wedges and hummus dip.

Instead of chicken wings, make chicken fingers using skinless chicken breast strips, dipped in milk and seasoned bread crumbs and baked at 425 for 10 minutes (cooked through, but still moist). Dip into mustard, honey or barbecue sauce.
Melt Cheddar cheese along with a can of Ro-Tel Tomatoes, great spicy dip !!
pretzels...mhhmmm wicked yummy. plain and heathy. if you will be having soda, try having regular coke not diet. Diet is known to be 100 times worse than regular. But instead of soda try having water or juice. Try crackers and a low fat cheese. Try to stay away from cookies and all that fattening stuff. Defiantly have a bunch of fruits and vegetables. Try having a bag a grapes or a bag of carrots every quarter. Also, for dinner, try to stay AWAY from ordering out, try making a soup or having a salad for dinner. If its a tradition to have chicken this night, then have grilled chicken ((not fried )) with no sauces on it, just plain.I hope i helped you!
veggies and fat free Ranch dip

fruit and various gourmet cheese or fat free cream cheese dip

seasoned air popped popcorn

various pickled veggies
If you cut up some veggies and serve with a kick-butt dip (blue cheese dip?) you'll eat that instead of pigging out on chips.

How about low-sodium nacho chips and salsa as well?

As long as you make sure you have healthy options only, you'll do fine.
We start snacking about 2 or so %26amp; enjoy it all thru the game. I'm fixing things like raw veggies w/dip, a couple of different cheeses - cut into cubes %26amp; served with wheat crackers, chex party mix, mixed nuts, oven baked wings.....Just go easy on the dips %26amp; stay away from a lot of fried foods......Go Colts!!
Just make sure you do some excercise!

Go for a walk before and after!

Go with something good like peanut butter and celery!

Drink water instead of beer or soda, and have a good lunch and you will be fine!
1 box crispex cereal

1 pkg ranch powdered dressing

1/4 cup oil

Place cereal in an empty ice cream bucket. Sprinkle with powdered dressing mix. Put lid on and shake to mix. Heat oil until hot (about 30-45 secs), slowly drizzle over crispex. Put lid on and shake again. Munch away!

The recipe calls for 1/2 cup oil but I find you can get away with less if it's hot! Enjoy!!
