Can you give me some simple snack recipes?

1 pound hamburger (ground chuck)


1 cup salsa of choice


1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


1 package taco seasoning


water (as required on taco packet)


Brown meat, drain. Add all other ingredients and simmer until cheese is completely melted. Spoon into ready made miniature filo dough cups (any grocery store approx $2.00 a box) Sprinkle additional shredded cheese on top, bake at 350 for approx. 15 minutes.Can you give me some simple snack recipes?
these are a favorite:





chicken quesadillas in a minute





2 flour tortillas


grated pepper jack cheese


canned chicken (drained)








spread cheese on tortilla, top with chicken, top with 2nd tortilla


microwave for a minute


slice into wedges with a pizza cutter





There is enough chicken in a tuna-sized can to make 3 or 4 quesadillas.





it tastes just like quesadillas, the pepper jack cheese has all of the flavor/seasoning you need. you'll feel like a chef, looks good too, and it was so easy!
Rice crispy squares , melt brown sugar with margerine add rice crispies and let them cool.
try getting doriotoes or cheetos (all that stuff) put into dem some lemon and some hot sauce mix them and bouala... delicious..

These crab bites are so easy to make, and this recipe makes enough for 48 appetizers


INGREDIENTS:


鈥? English muffins, split


鈥? roll (6 ounces) garlic cheese, or a small jar (5 ounces) of Old English Cheese Spread, room temperature


鈥? tablespoons butter


鈥? tablespoon mayonnaise


鈥?/2 teaspoon onion powder


鈥?/2 teaspoon garlic powder, if not using garlic cheese


鈥? teaspoon freshly chopped parsley


鈥? can (6 to 7 ounces) crabmeat, drained, flaked


鈥liced green onions and tomatoes for garnish, if desired





PREPARATION:





Heat oven to 350掳. Arrange split muffins, cut side up, on a baking pan lined with foil.


In a medium bowl, mash the garlic cheese or cheese spread with butter, mayonnaise, onion powder, garlic powder, if using, and parsley.


Stir in the crabmeat. Spread evenly over the split muffins. Bake for 10 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Cut into quarters and serve warm, garnished with green onions and diced tomatoes, if desired.


Makes 48 crab bites.

Stuffed Mushrooms:


INGREDIENTS:





鈥? to 10 medium mushroom, firm, closed caps


鈥? tablespoon butter


鈥? tablespoons minced onion or green onion


鈥?/4 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


鈥?/4 cup soft bread crumbs (see below)


鈥?/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese


鈥? tablespoons water


鈥alt %26amp; pepper to taste





PREPARATION:


Preheat oven to 350掳. Wash mushrooms quickly under running water; drain on paper towels. Pull stems from mushrooms and chop finely. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat; add chopped mushroom stems and onion. Saut茅 until tender.


Stir in Worcestershire sauce, soft bread crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper. Sprinkle salt over mushroom caps and fill with saut茅ed mixture, mounding over the top. At this point, you may cover and refrigerate these mushrooms for up to 24 hours. Before serving, put 2 tablespoons of water in a shallow dish and arrange stuffed mushrooms in dish. Bake for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.


Makes 8 to 10 appetizers.


Soft bread crumbs: Put bread on cutting board and use fork tines to tear off crumbs, or use food processor to make finer crumbs. One slice bread makes about 1/2 cup lightly packed crumbs.

Mini Cheddar and Green Onion Quiches





INGREDIENTS:


鈥ie pastry for 2-crust pie


鈥? tablespoons butter, melted


鈥? cup thinly sliced green onion, divided


鈥? cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese


鈥? large eggs


鈥? teaspoon salt


鈥reshly ground black pepper, about 1/8 teaspoon


鈥? teaspoon Dijon or other spicy mustard


鈥? cup half-and-half, or half heavy cream and half whole milk





PREPARATION:





Grease and flour mini muffin pans and heat oven to 400掳.


Roll pie crust out to about 1/8-inch thickness. Cut out 2 1/2-inch rounds; fit into the mini muffin cups. Brush pastry with butter.


Sprinkle about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of green onion or chopped broccoli into each cup; top with a small amount of shredded cheese.


Whisk together the remaining ingredients; spoon 1 scant tablespoon into each cup, just short of the top of the pastry. Sprinkle each with a little more green onion.


Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until set. Makes about 36 mini quiches.
toast english muffin, spread on small amount of tomato sauce, toppings if you have any (artichoke hearts, spinach, %26amp; olives are some of my favorites), top with shredded cheese, broil in oven/toaster oven until cheese is melted and starting to brown.
1) Baby carrots... dip them in ranch dressing. Yummy!

3) Raw almonds, cashews or pistachios.





4) Sliced cheese on crackers
A portion of cous-cous. Cooked in 3 minutes, add butter, salt and enjoy a healthy and nutricious meal.
ritz cracker with a dap of ketchup or pizza sauce, a small peice of peperoni and topped with a little cheese, put in the oven for a few min's until the cheese melts.
Chex mix always a good hit. Peanut butter and jelly rolls.

2 cups Honey Nut Cheerios庐 cereal


2 cups teddy bear-shaped graham snacks


1 cup honey-roasted peanuts


1/2 cup raisins








1. Mix all ingredients in large bowl.

I'm not sure what exactly you are looking for but I can give you some healthy ideas that don't require any work.

Smoothies are good snacks too. You can put almost anything in the blender and it only takes a few minutes. In mine:





1 packet of instant oatmeal


1 banana


1/2 cup milk


3 ice cubes


(optional) 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
There is Peanut Butter Rice Krispy treats. If I am not mistaken, you simply take peanut butter and rice krispy cereal and mix it into a bowl and stir it up. Then you cook it in a square pan till they are nice and hot. That is one simple treat and even put fudge on top of them. Yummy.

~~~~~~~~~~ Country Chicken Burgers ~~~~~~~~~~


Serves 4


Tasty chicken burgers are a lighter and healthier alternative to eating hamburgers. The burgers can be cooked either under a grill or on an open barbecue, and turkey can be used instead of chicken.





8oz/225g skinless and boneless chicken thigh meat


1 onion


4oz/100g sausage meat


2oz/50g fresh brown or white breadcrumbs


1 tbsp chopped parsley


1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves or 1 tsp dried thyme





Mince the chicken by hand or in a food processor until fairly coarse. Then finely chop the onion and sausage meat. Combine all of the ingredients and work together until evenly mixed, then shape the mixture into 4 burgers.


Cook the burgers under a preheated grill set at a medium setting for about 15 minutes, turning once, until golden on both sides.





~~~ Jacket Potatoes with Chicken and Avocado ~~~


Serves4


Much of a potato鈥檚 nutrients are contained in, or just under, its skin. Make the filling for this dish with freshly cooked, boned chicken breasts or with any leftover roast chicken. Serve with green salad.





4 large baking potatoes


1 tsp olive oil


录 pint/150ml sour cream


3 tbsp snipped chives


1 tbsp lemon juice


10oz/275g cooked chicken


1 ripe avocado


Salt and freshly ground black pepper


Scrub and prick the potatoes, then rub each one with oil. Cook on a baking sheet for 1陆 hours.


Meanwhile, blend the sour cream, chives and lemon juice together in a bowl. Cut the chicken into small cubes and add to the mixture.


Cut the avocado in half and remove the skin and stone. Dice the flesh into 陆in/15mm cubes. Add to the chicken, season to taste and mix well.


Make a diagonal cut in the potatoes and pull them apart. Fill each one with the chicken mixture





~~~~~~~~~~ Potato Pancakes with Apple Rings ~~~~~~~~~~


Prep: 20 min / Cook: 45 min


12 (three-inch) Pancakes





2 tsp unsalted butter


2 apples, cored and sliced into 1/4-inch-thick rings


1 pound russet potatoes, grated and blotted dry


1 medium carrot, peeled, grated, and blotted dry


1/3 cup grated onion


2 large eggs, lightly beaten


2 tbsp all-purpose flour


3/4 tsp salt


1/4 cup vegetable oil





1. Preheat oven to 200 deg F. In large nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add apple. Cook, turning slices over occasionally, until tender, 10 to 12 minutes. Place in oven to keep warm.


2. In large bowl, combine potatoes, carrot, onion, and eggs. Stir in flour and salt until well combined.


3. In large nonstick skillet over medium heat, heat 2 tbsp oil. Measuring 1/4 cup butter, well packed, for each pancake, cook 4 pancakes at a time until well browned and crisp on bottom, about 4 minutes. Turn pancakes over and press down on each with back of metal spatula to flatten slightly. Cook until browned, crisp, and cooked through, another 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Place on baking sheet in oven to keep warm. Repeat to make another 8 pancakes, using remaining oil as needed. Top pancakes with apple rings.





helpful HINT:


You can keep both the apple rings and the potato pancakes from drying out in the oven while you finish up the last batches by covering them loosely with aluminum foil.

hey wanna try this, fried fish balls with souce to dip it.





sauce: 5 tablespoon soy sauce + 2 tablespoon vinegar + 1 piece onion(tid bits,fresh) + black pepper(measure the spice of your choice) + half piece pepper (fresh tid bits)





mix them all in a bowl, taste them after mixing, now identify which is lacking, try to add more of some of tbe ingredients that would satisfy your taste,,, you can also mix a little amount of sugar to this sauce! enjoy!!





this sauce can also be apply to different dishes, fried or smoke fish, chicken or pork.
