it's not really a recipe, but i had a hard time getting my daughter to eat a healthy quick snack, so i put some banannas in the freezer~ before you do that though, you need to stick a popsicle stick in one of the ends~freeze it~, then 24 hrs. later you unpeel it.. and you can put a little melted chocolate on it, just for taste. i also freeze grapes~ they are very good and kids love them.. hope i helped with your question..... she will love um.Quick snack recipes a 13 year old can make?
Well if you like eggs; quick and easy, peanut butter and crackers, salad, strudel, and my favorite thing is grab some fruit such as plum, peach, strawberries and about a quarter cup of milk, and some yogurt about quarter cup, and some ice about three maybe four depends how big you want it. blend it put it in a cup and enjoy a wonderful healthy snack that just happens to taste the best!
Cinnamon Toast

Here's what you will need to make it:

bread

butter

cinnamon

sugar

butter knife

small spoon

bowl

plate

Here's what you have to do:

1. Mix up some cinnamon and sugar in a bowl. Use about twice as much sugar as cinnamon.

2. Toast some bread.

3. Spread butter on the toast. It's best if you spread the butter when the toast is right out of the toaster, so that the butter melts.

4. Sprinkle on some cinnamon and sugar.

tons of great stuff. research allrecipes.com, and look up things with specific ingredients you like.

good snacks:

apple slices or banana with peanut butter, dipped in crunchy granola

homemade smoothie, with frozen fruits and a little tofu for creaminess

popcorn

raisin toast with the spread of your choice

hummus (easy to make!) with veggies or pita for dipping

your favorite beans, cooked in a taco seasoning mix (or your own spices, if taco seasoning mixes contain animal ingredients), piled into a tortilla with plenty of lettuce and salsa

a baked potato piled high with salsa (better than you think!)

jicama sticks and other raw veggies with your favorite salad dressing as dip
When I was younger, I enjoyed dehydrating fruits. A 13 year can cut apples, oranges, bananas etc and put into a dehydrator to leave over night.

Oh wait that's not quick....
Here is a great site with lots of snack recipes.

Chewy Granola Bars

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

2 cups vegan rice crispies

2 cups dry oatmeal

1 cup cranberries, raisins, or any other chopped dehydrated fruit

1/2 cup hulled unsalted sunflower seeds

1/2 cup chopped almonds

1 cup light vegan corn syrup

3/4 cup sugar

1 tablespoon margarine

Directions:

Get a large bowl and add the rice crispies, oatmeal, choice of dried fruit, sunflower seeds, and almonds. Mix them together and pull the pieces of fruit apart if they stick together. Grease a deep dish pan (around 9x15x2) with some margarine.

Next, in a medium large pot, add 1 cup light corn syrup and heat until it starts to boil, then add the vegan sugar. Turn down the heat, add margarine, and stir until vegan sugar is dissolved.

Remove pot from stove and add the dry ingredients. Mix with large spoon until all of the dry stuff is mixed in with the corn syrup/vegan sugar. Add this to the greased pan, spread it out evenly, then place a sheet of wax paper over it and press it down or roll it out flat with a jar or can. Remove wax paper and let sit for 1 hour.

There are many other things your child can make as a healthy vegetarian snack. If you eat cheese; grilled cheese sandwiches, pita pockets with avocado and sprouts no meat.
