Do anyone have homemade snack recipes for cockatiels?

I was wondering does anyone know any homemade snack recipes for cockatiels? Like I find some online but they require things i need to buy instead of just things that u find in the kitchen. I have a whole jar of honey and I want to use that. But i just want a simple snack recipe for my bird. ThanksDo anyone have homemade snack recipes for cockatiels?

Amounts vary but I make enough to last about a month, freezing extra ziplock baggies. Each baggie lasts a week in the fridge.

Ingredients:

Brown rice

Rolled Oats

Couscous

vegatable orzo

Whole wheat elbow pasta

15 bean soup mix beans soaked over night omit spice packet

1 yam

1 zuchini or yellow squash

chopped broccoli

chopped carrots

frozen mixed veggies (with peas and corn)

jalapeno peppers with seeds

crushed red pepper flakes

chili powder

garlic powder

oregano or basil dried or fresh

I get the biggest pot I have and boil the rice oats and couscous together. I add the orzo and pasta after it starts to boil. In two other pots I boil the yam and the beans til cooked. After the rice pasta pot is almost done, I add the beans with a little bean water, and the chopped yam. After everything is almost done and all the water is soaked up, I add all the other chopped veggies and the spices My birds seem to really like stuff spicy so the jalapeno peppers and red pepper flakes are a hit. If you want to make this a sweet dish, you can omit the spicy stuff and instead add dried cranberries, chopped apple, pumpkin and cinnamon instead. My birds seem to really love the homemade mixes and they are alot cheaper to make.Do anyone have homemade snack recipes for cockatiels?
Bubbas' favorite cookie recipe:

1 Teaspoon of pellets for birds (I use Laferber's)

1 Tesspoon of kaytee pellets

1/4 Teaspoon pancake mix complete

For variety you can add:

1/5 Teaspoon honey or crumb honey bunches of oats

Shelled peanuts (no skins or shells)

shelled bird seed such as nutriberries or regular bird seed

Add: just enough of one of these ingredients to soften pellets

into a soft cookie like paste

applesauce or apples (no seeds or skins please)

smashed carrots

water ( I use filtered water to remove chlorine)

Never use tephlon pans for cooking around your bird or cook bird snacks in tephlon pans.

Use aluminum or stainless steel pans

Butter and flour the bottom of the pan

Pre heat oven to 350*

Spoon batter into pan space cookies 2 to 3 inches apart

place pan in oven cook for 10-12 minutes

Recipe makes 4-6 half dollar size cookies

For soft cookies like bubba likes remove from oven after 10- 12 minutes and let cool

Cookies should kept in freezer until needed for up to one week.

give the bird 3 or 4 small pieces of cookie

If the bird does not finish the cookie remove the left overs and discard.

P.S

Bubba never leaves any left overs.

Word of caution: giving people bread to birds leads to yeast infections. and loose stools.

Bubba says you may have to buy some ingredients but its better to be healthy and safe than sorry. What you buy for this recipe will last a long time and should inspire you to create your own recipes for birdie. Just make sure you research thoroughly.
