I always reach for junk food and I want to cut the junk food out.Is there any yummy recipes I can try?Thanks!Do you know any snack recipes?
Cajun Spiced Hard-Boiled Egg


1 large hard-boiled egg


1/8 teaspoon Cajun spice blend





Sprinkle egg with spice blend.

Cucumbers %26amp; Cottage Cheese


1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese


1/4 teaspoon spice blend, such as Jane’s Krazy Mixed-Up Salt


1/2 cucumber, cut into spears





Sprinkle cottage cheese with spice blend. Dip cucumbers into the cottage cheese

“Cocoa-Nut” Bananas


4 teaspoons cocoa powder


4 teaspoons toasted unsweetened coconut


2 small bananas, sliced on the bias





Place cocoa and coconut on separate plates. Roll each banana slice in the cocoa, shake off the excess, then dip in the coconut

Ham %26amp; Pepper Roll-Ups


1 tablespoon reduced-fat cream cheese


2 slices reduced-sodium deli ham


1/2 cup red bell pepper slices





Spread cream cheese on ham slices, top with bell pepper and roll.

Hummus %26amp; Vegetables


3/4 cup mixed vegetables, such as baby carrots, cherry tomatoes and red bell pepper slices


3 tablespoons prepared hummus





Dip vegetables into hummus

Sesame Carrots


2 cups baby carrots


1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds


Pinch of dried thyme


Pinch of kosher salt





Toss carrots with sesame seeds, thyme and kosher salt in a small bowl

Sweet and spicy snack mix


2 cans (15 ounces each) garbanzos, rinsed, drained and patted dry


2 cups Wheat Chex cereal


1 cup dried pineapple chunks


1 cup raisins


2 tablespoons honey


2 tablespoons reduced-sodium Worcestershire sauce


1 teaspoon garlic powder


1/2 teaspoon chili powder








Directions


Preheat the oven to 350 F. Lightly coat a 15 1/2-inch-by-10 1/2-inch baking sheet with butter-flavored cooking spray.





Generously spray a heavy skillet with butter-flavored cooking spray. Add garbanzos to the skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the beans begin to brown, about 10 minutes.





Transfer garbanzos to the prepared baking sheet. Spray the beans lightly with cooking spray. Bake, stirring frequently, until the beans are crisp, about 20 minutes.





Lightly coat a roasting pan with butter-flavored cooking spray. Measure the cereal, pineapple and raisins into the pan. Add roasted garbanzos. Stir to mix evenly.





In a large glass measuring cup combine honey, Worcestershire sauce and spices. Stir to mix evenly. Pour the mixture over the snack mix and toss gently. Spray mixture again with cooking spray. Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep the mixture from burning. Remove from oven and let cool. Store in an airtight container.

Fresh fruit kebabs with lemon lime dip


4 ounces low-fat, sugar-free lemon yogurt


1 teaspoon fresh lime juice


1 teaspoon lime zest


4 to 6 pineapple chunks


4 to 6 strawberries


1 kiwi, peeled and diced


1/2 banana, cut into 1/2-inch chunks


4 to 6 red grapes


4 wooden skewers








Directions


In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, lime juice and lime zest. Cover and refrigerate until needed.





Thread 1 of each fruit onto the skewer. Repeat with the other skewers until the fruit is gone. Serve with the lemon lime dip.

1 celery rib,washed, ends trimmed


2 tablespoons creamy or chunky peanut butter


10 NESTLÉ® RAISINETS® Milk Chocolate-Covered Raisins


Fill celery with peanut butter.


Press RAISINETS into peanut butter.


Makes 1 serving.





Finger Jello





3 boxes of your favorite Jello


4 packages Knox Clear Gelatin


1/2 cup granulated sugar


4 cups boiling water


1 cup cold water


Place the ingredients in order listed into 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan, mix until well dissolved and place in refrigerator until set.








Out of This Galaxy Cantaloupe Treat





1 medium sized cantaloupe


1 2/3 cups of large curd cottage cheese


1 tablespoon ground almonds, shredded coconut or raisins (or a mixture)


Drizzle of honey (for those over the age of 1 only)


Using a large, sharp knife, cut the cantaloupe crosswise into rings. Trim off the rind and scoop out the seeds.


Place each ring on a plate and carefully cut the ring into bite-sized pieces while keeping the ring shape.


Using an ice cream scoop, fill the center with a scoop of cottage cheese (about 1/3 cup).


Sprinkle a planetary dusting of ground almonds, raisins and coconut over the cottage cheese and drizzle a solar spray of honey on top.


Serve.
