Original Snack Recipes?

I am in need of some good, original snack recipes, i have an assignment for school that requires us to make a recipe book, i have a few ideas but not enough, it needs to be for 10-14 y/o's with a medium amount of cooking skills, There needs to be a variety of sweet, savourey, hot, cold, fruit, healthy and 'indulgences'. My teacher is very fussy so no caramel slice, chocolate chip cookies, you know nothing standard, they need to be original, Thanks in advance, GeorgiaOriginal Snack Recipes?
Oven roasted herbed vegetable crisps.





low fat cooking spray


2 medium courgettes, sliced crosswise into 1/2 cm slices


2 med parsnips, peeled and sliced crosswise into 1/2cm slices


2 med sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1/2cm slices.


4 med crrots, peeled and sliced diagonally into 1/2 cm slices1 tsp salt or to taste


1 tsp origano, or to taste.





Preheat oven to gas mark 1/2 /130c/ 250f. Coat 2 large trays with spray oil.


Arrange veg on trays, coat veg with spray and season with salt and oregano.


Roast for 1 hour and then rotate trays. Roast for 1.5 - 2 hours total, or until crisps and crunchy and dry.





(You could also do apples in the same method) omitting the salt and oregano.





To keep crispy, store in an airtight container or storge bag for 3 days. To re-crisp already cooked crisps that have gone soft, cook on a baking tray for 10 mins at 130c/250f gas mark 1/2Original Snack Recipes?
Punched up punch: Get an ice cube tray and fill it with raspberry koolaid, (flavor of your choice, I prefer raspberry in this one.) and let it freeze. To make your punch, cool 2 quarts of cranberry juice, (100% is best, but you can use the other kind) add 2 liters of cooled soda, (lemon lime, Sprite, Sierra Mist, 7-Up, or for a real bite Ginger Ale) mix just before serving. Put in the koolaid ice cubes and stir. The ice cubes will add just a touch of flavor to this punch. OR, you can use raspberry sherbet instead of the ice cubes. Serve with snack crackers and cheese or cake. This makes a nice Holiday Punch for dinner as it isn't too sweet and it cleans your palate. Also good all by itself.
well, how about somethings that are really simple- like making ice-creams by putting apple juice in the refrigirator and those sort of things! Search on google- you will find great easy recipes!

Bread Delight Recipe





Ingredients





Bread slices - 4 nos


(remove the brown edges)


Onion - 1 no


(finely chopped)


Tomato - 1 no


(finely chopped)


Green chillies - 2 nos


(finely chopped)


Salt - As reqd


Semolina(Rava/Sooji) - 2 tsp


Butter - 4 tsp





Preparation Method





1)Cut the bread slices to half.





2)Mix together the chopped onions, tomatoes and green chillies, rava, salt and 2 tsp of butter.





3)Take 1 tbsp of this mix and spread it on the bread which is cut into two parts.





4)Repeat the same procedure with all the bread pieces.





5)Apply a little oil or butter on a frying pan.





6)Roast both the sides of the bread.





7)Repeat the procedure for all the bread pieces.
