Healthy, hand held snack recipes?

I am diabetic, so NO SUGAR is allowed.

Has anyone got the recipes of healthy snacks which can be hand held? No chutneys and no prawns. Thanks.Healthy, hand held snack recipes?
You can put almost anything in a wrap.

Or even in a pancake....

Ever tried a savoury pancake?

I like to roll a fresh bananna in a pancake.....

I love grilled fish wraps and even wrap fish fingers in them for the kids....

Hand held, you can take a wrap anywhere, and not feel out.....

Simply wrap your favourite filling in a wrap, cheaply available at any Wallmart or big shopping centre....

Simple but effective wraps have saved my day many timesHealthy, hand held snack recipes?
Ham sandwich
Carrot or apple dipped in houmous is one of my favourites.
Grilled halloumi, with a rocket salad, wrapped in a warm pitta!
You could always make your own trial mix.

Just mix together some cheerios, your favorite nuts, some raisins if you like, and there you go!

Or, grapes are always good. For something different try freezing them!

If you want something sweet look in a diabetic cook book. They always have tons of yummy things in there for people like yourself.

Smoothies are very good also! Get a bag of your favorite frozen berries, put them in a blender with your favorite juice, yogurt, milk, fresh fruit, or even water if you like. Blend it until it is your perfect consistency and you have a nice refreshing smoothie!

Note:There is no need to add ice to frozen berries unless they are thawed.

Hope I helped!
';Ants on a log';

I used to eat this growing up and it's easy and delicious.

Clean and cut celery to whatever size suits you. Then fill the inside with your favorite peanut butter. The ';ants'; part is raisins added to the top of the peanut butter. You can leave them out if you like.

I hope this helps!
lettuce wrap

fry some noodles until crispy

saute some ground pork with garlic and onions

carrots, cucumber and tomatoes on top

(you can drizzle some balsamic vinegar if you like, or not)

wrap it on romaine or lolo rosso lettuce
Carrott sticks

Celery with primula cheese

bread sticks

Apple chunks (natural sugar?)

I hope this helps x
I buy a punet of strawberries every other day and put them on my desk at work.

tasty!
make your own beef jerky with an air dryer if you have one. (dehydrater)

cucumbers with proscuttio wrapped over it.

my brother is diabetic and he has an apple or banana as a snack every now and again. It won't hurt. Its more about the ultra processed refined sugars that are in things like snack cakes that are a problem.

sugar free items are a good idea as well.
